I'm a keeper, apparently

As many of you may have heard, I am now an engaged man. It all happened on Saturday after Cassy got off work. I took her to a park in Mission and I had a crossword for us to do. Little did she know that it would be the best crossword puzzle that she had ever done. To make a long story short...at the end of the puzzle I had put a a fill in the blank section (41D+56A+12A) which said 'will ewe merry me, Cassy'. She had started to become suspicious when she saw her name in it. But she said yes. We are thinking August 18 for the wedding. Be there or be square ha!

Unfortunate Incident

So I was on a break from "weekend school" learning about the environment, and decide to go to the washroom. Both of the urinals are in use so I go to a stall and shut the door behind me, but did not lock it. I get done what I have to do, and try to open the door, but it won't open. I try to unlock it to no avail. I hit the door trying to knock something loose, but that again fails. So I decide that I won't be able to get out the door and the real quandry begins, do I go under or over. I decide that the floor probably isn't that clean so I have to climb over. I wait for everyone to leave and then stand on the toilet and boost myself over the stall. Sometime between jumping up and landing on the otherside I managed to hit my head, which really hurt. I was hoping that someone would come in because I would laugh at me if I could.

Job Hunting

I am now back in Abbotsford and now must grow up and get a job. I wasn't successful today expect for applying with WestJet. Over the course of the day I managed to do everything except look for a job. I did go out but only walked from store to store for almost an hour. Tomorrow hopefully will be better, or else the repo man will come a knockin'.

The home of the old?

Chris V. and I went to Camrose yesterday to see what we could see. Had coffee with the staff at CLBI and talked hockey. Then went to the new Tim Hortons and saw the most amazing thing. A train stopped in front of the store and a couple guys got out and bought some coffee. Just ridiculus. Then we went to the miracle spring water, and met a guy who was filling up water jugs for his fish. We spent some time at Home Hardware then went to the packers to get some steak. We barbequed at Tom's house and it only took an hour... We topped off our stay in Camrose by going dumpster diving (didn't find anything all that impressive). On our way home we drove around Millet and looked at houses and then watched the fire department pratice using a hose. Twas a good day full of randomninity and many rants.

I have finally given into the pressure

After many months of holding out I have decided that it is time to make a blog. Not out of necessity but out of boredom. My day has consisted of waking up, reading, going with Chris to the new Casino and getting free coffee, coming back to my place to play on linerider.com and now creating a blog. I know, extremely exciting. But there are only 5 more days until the Feast of Stephen. Oh good King Wenceslas.
